Privacy Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Red Network(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you play on our Minecraft server, visit our website, or interact with our community services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

  • In-game data: Minecraft username, UUID, IP address, connection logs, chat messages, gameplay statistics and moderation records.
  • Account data: Discord ID and username when you link your account or join our Discord.
  • Purchase data: Order details and transaction identifiers processed by our payment provider on the store. We do not store card numbers.
  • Website data: Cookies and similar storage that keep the site running (always on), and optional first-party analytics that stay off until you accept them. Section 2 below lists exactly what the analytics record.
  • Battle Pass data: Your weekly XP, the rewards you claimed and whether they were delivered, and when you opened the pass page, as described in section 2.

2. Website Analytics and the Battle Pass

Always on (needed for the pass to work). When you link your account with the code from /pass in game, we set one cookie, rn_pass, that keeps you signed in for 30 days. It holds a random token; we store only a hash of it, together with your UUID and a short hash of your browser type. We also keep one record per day that you opened the pass page, so we can give the daily 150 XP once. When you claim a reward we store the claim, its delivery status and a hash of your IP address that changes every day, to spot abuse. You can sign out from the pass page.

Only if you accept analytics. Analytics is off until you choose it in the cookie banner. When it is on, our own website records, on our own server:

  • The pages you open (the path only, never the part of the address after a question mark), how long you stay and how far you scroll.
  • On the pass page: which rewards you hover over or open, how long you turn the 3D view, whether you try to claim and whether it worked, when you start and finish linking (not the code itself), and when you press the buy button.
  • In the 3D world on the pass page: which level you jump to or focus, how long you spend turning the camera, whether you skip or finish the intro, whether you click a creature or use Claim all, and which season was showing. Once per visit it also notes how the page ran: the graphics level it picked (high, medium or low), a frame rate range such as 45 to 60, how long the world took to load, and the reason if the flat view was used instead (for example reduced motion or no WebGL). It does not record your graphics card, browser version or any other hardware detail.
  • In the Halloween cave and the countdown on the home page: that you opened it and whether it ran in 3D, as a still or in 2D, whether you went in through the tunnel or skipped it (and how far in), whether you turned the sound on or off, and that the countdown reached zero while you were there.
  • A return visit on another day.
  • With each event: a random id for your browser tab session, your device type (phone, tablet or desktop), your language, your country as reported by Cloudflare, the site you came from, any utm tags in the link you used, and a hash of your IP address that changes every day. The IP address itself is not stored.
  • If you are linked, the events are tagged with your Minecraft UUID so we can see how the pass is used by real players. If you are not linked they are not tied to an account.

We use this to see which parts of the site and the pass people use, and to improve them. It is kept in a database file on our own server, is not sold, and is not sent to any analytics or advertising company. We do not fingerprint your device. Events are deleted automatically after 13 months.

Opting out and deleting. Use (also in the footer) or the Analytics switch at the bottom of the pass page to turn analytics off. It stops at once and the data stored in your browser for it is removed. To delete what was already recorded, link your account and use “Delete my recorded events” on the pass page; this removes the events tagged with your account and those from the same browser sessions. Otherwise ask us on Discord.

3. How We Use Your Information
